Handmade curtains demand tracks or poles that are both practical and look good, to complement their style. Curtains can be surprisingly heavy, so it's important to choose tracks or poles that are "man" enough for the job and can be fixed firmly to the wall or ceiling. Prices vary widely and here we can guide you as to what is available to achieve the look you're after, without blowing the budget. Tracks and poles for conventionally sized windows are readily available, but our real skill is in our ability to cope with the largest of windows and the most challenging situations.
We choose our suppliers very carefully, using those who can supply extra long "contract" lengths and can make up bespoke fittings if needs be.
Our main suppliers are the Bradley Collection (www.bradleycollection.com) and Silent Gliss (www.silentgliss.co.uk ), but we also use Hunter & Hyland (www.hunterandhyland.co.uk) and other trade suppliers. Many of the poles we supply are made in the UK too, and we're delighted to be able to support other British manufacturers.
We always fit the hardware we supply - please see the Fitting Service section. Tracks can be electrically operated; please be sure to contact us early on during the "first fix" phase of building work if you think this might be of interest.
